Milo is a lifting, cardio and eating log made by Late Summer Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”). It runs as a web app you can add to your home screen. This policy covers what Milo collects and why. The short version: you sign in with Google so your log follows you between devices, your log is private to you unless you choose to share it, and we never sell anything about you.
Milo uses Google sign-in through Google Firebase Authentication. We get your Google account’s name, email address and a Firebase account ID. Your first name is saved to your Milo profile so people you choose to share with can see who a log belongs to. We never see your Google password.
Everything you enter is saved in your account in Google Cloud Firestore and kept on your device so Milo works offline. That includes:
Your log is readable only by your account. As the operator we can technically reach the database, but we look at your data only to fix a problem you report, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.
Sharing is off until you turn it on in Progress → People. When it’s on, a copy of your workouts, weight and food is readable by the other people in your Milo group, along with your first name. Photos are never shared. Turn it off any time.
To learn what’s working, Milo uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It collects:
These are not linked to your name, email or Google account, and Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, so they are not used for advertising or tracking you across other sites. Turn them off any time in Progress → About and data → Usage statistics.
The Milo web app doesn’t send your data to an AI model.
If you send feedback with the pencil button, we get your message, the screen you were on and the app version, saved with your account. If you email us, we get your message and email address. We use these only to reply and improve Milo.
We don’t sell or rent personal information. The only company involved is Google, which runs sign-in, the database, hosting and analytics for us through Firebase under its own privacy terms.
Milo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
