These terms govern your use of latesummer.io and the products and services offered by Late Summer Labs, LLC (“Late Summer Labs”, “we”, “us”). By using our sites or products, you agree to them.
Late Summer Labs builds and sells software, including language-learning products such as Plot Twist (plottwist.fm). Individual products may carry additional product-specific terms presented at sign-up or purchase; where they differ, the product-specific terms control for that product.
Some products require an account and are sold as paid subscriptions. You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
If a purchase didn't work out, write to us at hey@latesummer.io within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
Don't misuse the services: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach or probe security, no scraping or reselling our content, and no interfering with other users. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
The services, including all course content, audio, stories, and software, are owned by Late Summer Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own learning; it does not transfer ownership.
The services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Late Summer Labs' total liability for any claim arising out of the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Late Summer Labs, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
